Our partner regions Hohe Salve and Brixental in the Kitzbüheler Alps are renowned for their extensive network of cycling and mountain biking trails spanning over 1,000 kilometers. The region offers everything a cyclist’s heart desires, from leisurely bike tours close to the valley to challenging mountain climbs and a variety of easy and demanding trails.
TRAILS IN THE KITZBÜHELER ALPS
The vacation region features nine different single trails that vary in difficulty and length. Additionally, one of Tirol’s Great Trails can be found in the Kitzbüheler Alps: the Fleckalm Trail, renowned as one of the longest and most challenging trails in Tirol, delivering a complete enduro experience!
Except for one, all trails are conveniently accessible via cable cars.The Kitzbüheler Alpen Trail Card is the perfect ticket for exploring all these trails.

KAT BIKE - CROSSING THE KITZBÜHELER ALPS
Experience adventure for three days with up to 170 kilometers and over 5,000 meters of elevation gain while being immersed in the mountains. Two different options, KAT Bike Sport+ and KAT Bike E-njoy, promise biking bliss! Both tours consist of three stages: from Hopfgarten to Brixen im Thale or Mariastein to Windautal, then to Oberndorf, and finally to Fieberbrunn.
The Kitzbüheler Alps Crossing can be booked as an all-inclusive package, featuring selected 3- or 4-star hotels, luggage transport, and a return trip to the starting point via train.

It’s not just us who love the region! For several years in a row, our partner region has been awarded the prestigious "Approved Bike Area" seal. Not many areas qualify as certified bike regions, but the Kitzbüheler Alps are among them. The entire region, its infrastructure, hotels, bike shops, and bike schools must meet strict standards to earn the Approved Bike Area certificate.
